The Akron Convention was the third women's rights convention which was held in Akron, Ohio in July 1851 which drew hundreds of supporters which marked a turning point in the women's rights movement. They created resolutions which were adopted by the convention and were publlished across the country which resulted in gains of supporters.
To women, it was self evident that they were created with as moral endowments and high intellectual and were subject to the same necessities as man. It's also self evident that she's possessed of a perfect equality with him in her political, pecuniary, legal, ecclesiastical and social rights. Therefore here are their resolutions.
